We have a complete line of releasers. Choose an optimum one suitable for your needs.
The underwater releasers are mainly used for ocean observation, ocean civil engineering and fishery.
In response to the needs of customers, we have line up a variety of releasers from small and lightweight releasers to releasers which are usable with large load and for a long time. To unlock the hook, there are a gas pressure system and a motor drive system to be chosen according to the application. Custom-made releasers are also available for the special orders of customers.

Controller (MODEL-LC)
 【characteristic】
 ・ NGK Ocean has over 20 years of experience in long-term mooring and uses a
   reliable gas pressure releasing mechanism, which employs our proprietary
   rocket pyrotechnics.
 ・ You can select one call code out of the 255 codes.
 ・ Made solely of titanium, Underwater Releaser MODEL-LGCTi is both lightweight
   and free from corrosion.
 ・ This Underwater Releaser has a built-in inclination sensor. When the mooring
   equipment or the installer unit is tipped, a different set of response signals will
   be sent to the on-board Controller, enabling the operator to monitor the status.
 ・ You can add the optional Releaser Positioner (software program+GPS module)
   to the Controller (MODEL- LC). This program allows you to view the navigational
   path and automatically calculate the underwater Releaser's location.

 ・ You can add the optional Releaser Positioner (software program+GPS module)
   to the Controller(MODEL-L). This program allows you to view the navigational
   path and automatically calculate the installation site of the underwater Releaser.
 ・ In readiness for changes in navigational plan, which may extend the time needed
   for recovering the mooring equipment, you can optionally use a lithium battery

 ・ The small and lightweight MODEL-MMC has a motor-driven hook-disengaging
   mechanism. It is sturdy and can withstand repeated use in short-term
   operations.
 ・ This model is equipped with a power switch that allows you to turn the power on
   and off externally.
 ・ The Controller, equipped with a liquid crystal panel, displays the operating  
   conditions and measured distances. If connected to a PC, you can save and  
   store operation logs.
 ・ You can add the optional Releaser Positioner (software program+GPS module)
   to the Controller (MODEL-MC). This program allows you to view the navigational
   path and automatically calculate the installation site of the underwater Releaser.

Controller(MODEL-LC)

 ・ The electronic circuit, transducer, Releaser mechanism and batteries are all
   separate units, therefore you can integrate MODEL-L-G2 into any observation
   unit.
 ・ Compared with conventional underwater Releasers, MODEL-L-G2 has 255
   channels of control codes. This means that you can install many Releasers of
   this type in a limited area.
 ・ MODEL-L-G2 is small and lightweight and can be accommodated in most
   marketed glass or titanium spheres.
 ・ You can add the optional Releaser Positioner (software program+GPS module)
   to the Controller (MODEL-LC). This program allows you to view the navigational
   path and automatically calculate the installation site of the underwater Releaser.
 ・ The Releaser mechanism uses a wire burn method. However, this method can
   be replaced by gas pressure or motor drive mechanisms to meet customer
   requirements.

  Optionally, you can add the Releaser Positioner to the Controller
  (MODEL-MC,LC). It enables you to display, real time, the location of the mother
  ship, trace line, distance to the Releaser, and the calculated location of the
  underwater Releaser. All such data can be re-displayed by recalling it from the
  memory.

SSBL (Super Short Base Line) Positioning System

 【characteristic】
 ・ After they are released from the ocean bed or mid-water suspended positions,
   the location of mooring equipment units and OBSs can be accurately identified,
   thus aiding the safe and efficient recovery of these devices.
 ・ In order to obtain accurate positioning data, the signal processing unit
   eliminates noise reflections from the ocean bed and the sea surface.
 ・ In addition to the recovery of mooring equipment and OBSs, the SSBL (Super
   Short Base Line) Positioning System is also useful in finding the location of
   ROV/AUV systems and for ecological research involving whales, dolphins, turtles,
   and other marine life.
